Welcome to the 2006 Maine Forest Rally! The 16th running of the Maine Forest Rally will occur on Friday, July 21 and Saturday, July 22 in Bethel Maine and new for this year, Berlin, New Hampshire. This event is round 5 in the Rally America National Championship and is also the last qualifying event for the 2006 X Games to be held in Los Angeles in August. This year, the event is expected to draw close to 100 competitors including X Games Gold Medalist Travis Pastrana, 2005 North American Rally Cup Champion Matt Iorio, Australian Competitor Andrew Pinker as well as the current Canadian points leader Antoine L`Estage. Once considered on the Motorsports fringe, the sport of Performance Rallying now captures the active imagination of both Baby Boomers as well as Generation X’ers.
